The Adventures of a Gentleman in Search of Pleasure or La Rose d’Amour
Late 19th century Paris set smut. This book was originally published in serial form in The Pearl Magazine, from 1880-188I. It follows the narrators sexual escapades, from losing his virginity through to participating in wild orgies. An interesting piece of erotic history, as well as delivering on the titillation front!
Privately published – 1960s? – (26 Pages) A4 – Paperback. All text, no pictures.
Good  –  An average copy, that may have a combination of minor defects which could include light creases, small nicks to the cover or inside, some buffing to the spine, and the staples could be showing signs of early deterioration. The book, though, will still feel tight with no loose pages. A nice collectable copy.
Notes – The title page has come loose from the staples, as have one or two internal pages, and the crude handmade cover has also come loose. As this is printed on A4 paper, it is still very easy to hold in place and read. The type is of good quality throughout.
