Fessée

Fessée was a British spanking publication released between 1989 and 1992, notable for its distinctive presentation and strong editorial identity. Across its eleven issues, of 64 pages it had an unusually large colour section, the magazine set itself apart through its illustrated covers by Paula Meadows (Lynn Paula Russell), whose artwork became a defining feature of the title.
In style and content, Fessée offered a blend of short stories, articles, photography, artwork, and readers’ letters, focusing on consensual adult scenarios and avoiding the more sensational elements common in similar publications of the era. Its compliance with distributor guidelines—no marks, no fetishistic school uniforms, and clear emphasis on consent—allowed it to be stocked by mainstream newsagents rather than restricted to specialist shops.
Today, Fessée is valued for its high production standards, distinctive artwork, and its thoughtful, literate approach to spanking publishing during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
