Erotic Review

Printed Magazine Archive (1995–2010)
Erotic Review began in 1995 as a monthly newsletter for the Erotic Print Society and soon developed into one of the UK’s most distinctive literary erotica magazines. There were, I believe, 109 printed issues. It earned a reputation as a “sex mag for poshos,” blending short stories, essays, and cultural commentary with a literary rather than purely explicit focus. The magazine featured fiction, essays, photography, and cultural commentary from many notable contributors.
Erotic Review went through several evolutions — including a brief rebrand as Sex in 2006–2007 — before transitioning fully online in 2010. These printed editions are now highly collectible, representing a unique era of intelligent, art‑driven erotic publishing.
