Nutrix and Mutrix

The Nutrix Publishing Company was founded in 1952 by Irving Klaw and his sister Paula Klaw. The Klaws quickly became America’s most successful fetish publishers, a position they held until the early 1960s. Early contributors of art included Eric Stanton and Gene Bilbrew, while Bettie Page gained popularity for her photographic sets.

Unfortunately, Nutrix encountered some issues, and the business was eventually sold to Ed Mishkin in 1964, who changed its name to Mutrix. Mishkin continued publishing these small digest-size books, with much of the artwork still provided by Gene Bilbrew.

Nutrix and Mutrix digest sizes are now quite rare and highly sought after by collectors. There are many reprints of these books available due to their popularity; however, the quality of these reprints can vary greatly. Nonetheless, high-quality reprints are quite valuable and still highly collectible. Books for sale below will be clearly marked as either original or reprint, although it can sometimes be difficult to determine the authenticity of a book
