Customised Invoice

Invoicing makes it simple to receive a customised invoice for your order. After you have placed your order, I will raise an invoice that will include any revised postage costs. 

You will receive an invoice from PayPal, where you can securely pay with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service. 

Please make sure your email address is correct and allow some time for the invoice to arrive, taking into consideration any time difference, as this site is based in the UK.

Most invoices will be sent out within a couple of hours after you have placed your order. Once I receive confirmation of payment, your order will be prepared and sent out within 24 hours. If payment has not been received within 24 hours, your order will be cancelled, and the items will be made available for sale again. Please refrain from placing an order if you do not intend to complete the transaction.

Postage and Packing

I always try to keep postage costs as low as possible. Letters and parcels are always well wrapped and covered in a plain grey outer bag. Discretion is important and I can guarantee that there will be no external advertising or markings on any of the parcels leaving me. Your goods will be securely packaged in quality materials well up to the rigors of the postal system. I endeavour to dispatch all goods within 24 hours of receiving your payment. Orders received over a weekend, though, will be sent on a Monday.

The postage rates below are a guide but will appear on your order as a worst-case scenario. Once I receive your order, the postage will be adjusted according to weight, with a small amount being added to cover packing costs. Postage rates for the United Kingdom will not normally vary from those stated below, but costs to the USA will generally be adjusted downwards depending on the size and weight of the items ordered.

Ship to: United Kingdom £4 per order + £0.50 per item.

Parcels and letters posted within the United Kingdom will nearly always be sent using Royal Mail and, in all cases, will use a tracked service. You will be informed of your tracking number at the point of posting.

Ship to: Europe + £12.00 per order + £2.00 per item.

Ship to: USA + £20.00 per order + £5.00 per item.

Parcels and letters posted to anywhere other than the United Kingdom are usually sent via Royal Mail for anything up to 2kg. For parcels weighing more than 2kg, DPD is normally the preferred option, with a signed and tracked service always being used. Customs labels will have the contents marked as “Vintage Magazines”. It is your responsibility to pay any import costs that may be due on entry to your country.

I do my absolute best to keep postage costs as low as possible. However, posting books, especially to the USA, has become very expensive. I will always do my best to keep postage to a minimum after you have placed your order. If you have any questions about postage and delivery, please contact me before placing your order.

Returns Policy

I always try to describe items as honestly and accurately as possible. However, if you feel that an item differs substantially from the description, then please advise me as soon as possible after receipt. Returns will be accepted within 7 days from receipt and items must be returned in original or similar packaging. Any refunds will be sent via your chosen payment method.
